We helped others clear up clutter
That earned us our bread and butter.
We needed boxes and bubblewrap for the job
But prices nearly made us sob.
So we decided to dumpster dive
And couldn’t believe our eyes
We were ecstatic and disturbed by the waste
Upon reflection, that moment was God’s grace.
The utter wastefulness made us mad!
The thought of all the trees made us sad.
Boxes being thrown away at shops and chains
What to do? We searched our heart and brain.
We needed to do something, to do our part
In 2008, Treehugger Boxes we did start.
Teaming up with local area shops
They want to do right, we gotta give’em props.
We collect them so others don't have to dumpster dive
Repurposing these boxes keeps more trees alive
Like many others, we took action instead of just hoping
